UAE-based developer Azizi Developments announced the launch of 271 units in a block of serviced apartments in Roy-Mediterranean community in Al Furjan district of Dubai.
In a statement the company said that it is going to be the 12-th in a row residential project Azizi Developments is carrying out in Al Furjan.
Farhad Azizi, CEO of Azizi Developments, said: "Al Furjan, Dubai, is set to become one of the key developments in the Dubai South districts and a key tourism destination, with Bollywood Park and Lego Land in close proximity.”
The total area given to development of the new residential complex Roy-Mediterranean is 2.6 hectares. Upon completion the community will house 224 luxury studios and 47 one-bedroom apartments. The total cost of the project will be approximately AED 350 million (USD 95 million).
"In the lead up to, during and beyond Expo 2020, Azizi Developments is confident that its investment in the Roy-Mediterranean will meet the growing demand for affordable residential and serviced apartment units, as well as providing good returns for stakeholders and owners of the units," said Farhad Azizi.
Dubai's area of Al Furjan has lately started to really gain popularity among buyers and tenants. Here one can choose from a variety of land plots for construction, unlike the central city areas, where almost all land is already developed. The community is located just a short drive from the Dubai Marina, next to a large shopping complex Ibn Batuta Mall and Discovery Gardens. The total area of the community is 560 hectares. The infrastructure of this "quiet village" (as the name ‘Al Furjan’ is translated from Arabic) in the middle of the bustling metropolis was aimed to create a comfortable environment for its residents, with promenades, shops within walking distance, and, importantly, a wide number of freehold property to buy in full ownership.
