A new Symphony Tower to be built in Dubai’s Business Bay

Gemini Developers launched a construction of the 29-storey Symphony Tower in the Dubai Business Bay area. This project will add a number of units to the premium real estate stock, scheduled for completion months before Expo 2020.

A 29-storey Symphony Tower is going to be the second of a series of luxury residential projects planned by Gemini Developers, a developer behind recently launched Splendor project in Sobha Hartland community.

The new tower will house 455 apartments, with units ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments, the company said in a statement.

The project will also include smart home technologies, gym, yoga lawn, swimming pool, rooftop BBQ, jogging track, kid’s play area and shops, it added.

The building is scheduled for completion in May 2020 – five months before the Expo 2020 begins on October 20, 2020.

Sudhakar R Rao, managing director of Gemini Property Developers, said: “Dubai’s upward market trend has given us enough reason to launch new projects. Due to growth of non-oil economy, Expo 2020 and other mega developments, we foresee the market to remain on this upward trajectory of sustained growth”.

The Business Bay area, in which Symphony Tower is slated for construction, remains a favorite place to rent an office or apartment in, due to attractive rental rates and close proximity to all Dubai’s main attractions. The area was even ranked among five most interesting tourist destinations by Lonely Planet, one of the most authoritative global tourist guides. The guidebook describes Business Bay as Dubai's most exciting developing area, which is about to determine the entire city lifestyle in the near future.

A number of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects along the Dubai Canal in Business Bay are already transforming the area. They are, first of all, Bay Avenue, Bay Square and Marasi Business Bay, the three main pillars of the future of Business Bay. The largest of them, Marasi Business Bay project worth USD 272 million, is scheduled for completion in full only by 2023. By that time, there will be parks, 16 open areas for various purposes, play areas, amphitheatres, open cinemas, weekly markets.
