There's a possibility that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan may re-start his namesake project - SRK Boulevard, adding his own special touches to the development.
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will turn designer for the possible re-launch of his namesake ‘Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) Boulevard’ development in Ras Al Khaimah, Emirates 24|7 revealed.
“SRK Boulevard was supposed to be on Dana Island, but work on the island has not re-started yet. During Shah Rukh’s visit to Dubai in May, we briefly touched on the possibility of re-starting ‘SRK Boulevard’, but, possibly, at a different location,” Tony Ashai, president, Ashai Design Corporation (ADCC), told this website.
“SRK was busy with his movie ‘Happy New Year’ and his tours. Now, we will focus on the project as RAK has asked Shah Rukh to give some ideas. We met, but took a break because he (SRK) was busy… now we are going to think about it.”
Ashai added that SRK Boulevard is not just a real estate development, but also a 'big lifestyle concept' that will be built around Shah Rukh’s ideas.
“It would have lifestyle and entertainment - hotels, resorts, homes, apartments, beach club - may be Bollywood style.”
