Damac appointed a contractor for villas construction in Mulberry cluster of Akoya Oxygen

The construction of modern villas in Akoya Oxygen mega-project in Dubailand is on schedule.

A USD 15.9 million contract for the main construction works in the Mulberry cluster of Akoya Oxygen project was awarded to Towers Technology Contracting Co.

The first part of construction process including ground works, final design and mobilisation works for villas construction have been almost completely finalized throughout almost all communities at Akoya Oxygen. Now the hardest and most important part of work — engineering works and deep service works — is in progress. And this is what the new contractor will do.

Mohammed Tahaineh, senior vice president - Commercial, Damac Properties, said: “We are content with the pace of progress in development across the various clusters at AKOYA Oxygen.” He’s confident that all facilities will be delivered “in a timely manner, while maintaining quality standards.”

Akoya Oxygen is a residential community covering over 55 million square feet at the crossing of Al Qudra Road and Emirates Road, just 15 minutes drive from the center of Dubai. Artificial lakes, water canals and green spacious golf courses here are surrounded by picturesque little white houses in clusters like Akoya Selfie, Akoya Play, Aster, Claret, Coursetia, Hawthorn, Juniper, Mulberry, Odora, Primrose, Sycamore, Vardon, Zinnia, etc.

In addition to villas, townhouses and apartments in multi-storey complexes, the area will also have an organic market, ahydroponic cafe, a luxury wellness center, open yoga areas and a number of retail units housing world’s famous brands.
