Dubai to have its own French Riviera

VIDEO: AED 12 billion mix-use Azizi Riviera project launched in MBR City.

As part of the Meydan One project's implementation in Dubai's MBR City, local developer Azizi is about to create a kind of a "French village" with a view of the Dubai Canal.

Azizi Riviera, inspired by the French Cote d'Azur’s architecture and lifestyle will cost a whopping AED 12 billion and will include 69 mid-rise residential buildings, one four-star and one five-star hotel, as well as a big retail and entertainment district.

Construction of Azizi Riviera has already started with the first and second project phases scheduled for completion by December 2018.

This new community’s housing stock will include 13,000 apartments ranging from studios to three bedroom apartments, while residents will have a direct access to the nearby Meydan One Mall and the world's largest Meydan Racecourse, which races for the Dubai World Cup with the world’s largest winner’s pot being held there.

Azizi Riviera is the first in a series of other projects of a kind, which Azizi Development plans to implement within the Meydan One mega-development in cooperation with Meydan Group. This huge mix-use area will have plenty of new attractions and landmarks including Dubai One Tower, Meydan One Mall, a five-star hotel and a large civic plaza with dancing fountains, an indoor sports facility, and a 4 km long canal with a marina.
