All the hallmarks of an Address hotel are present: the space is generous and well lit with sophisticated European styling and delicious wafts of a refined room fragrance – but the rows of plastic trees in the lobby are a surprise. Filled with sunshine, quaint seating arrangements and a cake counter, this atrium with tall glass walls connects the hotel’s twin towers. Lifts are reached by thickly carpeted corridors lined with retail display cases, lest you forget that Downtown Dubai is a great place to part with your money.
Service and Facilities
This hotel is winning at pools. Like sleepers on a rail track, orderly rows of pristine loungers lap the lobby deck’s large family pool. A second smaller pool is tucked away around the corner. This peaceful space with superb poolside service from the attentive staff is dominated by views of Burj Khalifa. The infinity pool on the 54th floor puts swimmers face-to-midriff with the recording-breaking tower. On the same level, a spa reception filled with hanging basket-chairs fronts a warren of decadent treatment rooms with en-suite bathrooms, sauna, steam room, jet pool and a relaxation lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the city. Like the rest of the hotel, the state-of-the-art, ground-floor gym is indulgently spacious.
