According to the report, 51.7% of all Dubai housing transactions since the beginning of the year were recorded in the 10 largest areas of Dubai. In total, during the first eight months of the year, 23,652 housing transactions were completed in Dubai.
The newer fast developing areas of Dubai Hills Estate, JVC, Dubai Creek Harbor and Dubai South were the most popular among investors and home buyers during the mentioned time period. This suggests that, as new homes are being handed over, significant activity is observed in the secondary market.
“Newer areas have become quite popular with buyers. Dubai Hills Estate and JVC, for example, have risen significantly in the ranking over the last few months,” said Linnett Abad, director of Data and Research at Property Finder.
