Jumeirah Golf Estates is one of the world's most prestigious residential golf developments inspired by the best examples of European and North American golf parks. Just as one would imagine a luxurious golf development to look like, homes here are enclosed in a gated community amidst breathtaking landscape.
Facilities & Lifestyle
The development was created as an oasis in a Mediterranean style, with fountains, lakes and meadows, shady walkways and green fields. The whole area is divided into 4 golf zones named after the four elements Fire, Earth, Water and Air. The first 18-hole golf course was designed by Greg Norman, an entrepreneur and a legendary figure in the world of golf.
Currently, Phase A consisting of the Fire & Earth golf courses has been fully developed, which allowed to host International Dubai World Championship in 2008. Jumeirah Golf Estates maintains high standards of sustainability with golf courses being developed according to eco-signature guidelines. The first phase comprises over 1,000 villas spread out over 13 residential districts. 75 per cent of properties have views of sprawling golf courses, while others have stunning views of lakes or beautiful landscaped areas.
Phase B, C and D comprising Water and Air elements will be developed in future.
Location
Jumeirah Golf Estates community is located to the south-east along Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road, 22 km away from Dubai City Centre in the Jebel Ali district. It is also only few minutes away from Al Maktoum International Airport and key Dubai locations such as the Dubai Marina, Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Media City.
The area borders Dubai main sports center in Dubai Sports City meeting the residents’ needs for shopping and entertainment together with other neighboring district of Jumeirah Village. In the future, Jumeirah Golf Estates is expected to have its own shopping center constructed, while Carrefour supermarket is already being built in the neighboring IMPZ area.
Real Estate and Architecture
Jumeirah Golf Estates architecture is completely in harmony with the breathtaking scenery and idyll of nature. Each villa in 13 mini residential clusters with exotic names like Lime Tree Valley, Sanctuary Falls or Whispering Pines was designed individually with particular emphasis on landscaping the surrounding area, with shady gardens, trees and alleys.
Townhouses at Jumeirah Golf Estates community are oriented north south to benefit from prevailing breezes, while apartments also available for sale in the area often have spacious covered terraces with beautiful views of golf courses.
