Dubai master developer Emaar has finally determined a contractor, who will get the contract worth nearly US $ 230 million to build its residential complex The Hills, consisting of two towers and overlooking the Emirates Golf Club. Al Ghandi and Consolidated Contractors International (AGCC) partnership was selected as a general contractor.
The Hills by Emaar will be located in Emirates Living, the prestigious area of Dubai overlooking the golf course at the Emirates Golf Club, not far from Jumeirah Lakes Towers. It will be represented by four buildings, two of which will have 15 floors in height, and another two — 12 floors. One of the towers will house a hotel under Vida Hotels brand, and the other will include serviced hotel apartments under the same hotel brand, while another two residential buildings will comprise one, two and three bedroom apartments.
The project presented for the first time back in 2013 will be completed next year. “Construction of The Hills at Emirates Living has already commenced and is on track for delivery next year as per the sales agreement,” Emaar Properties spokesman said.
AGCC is one of several partner organizations in the UAE, controlled by the Athenian Consolidated Contractors Company holding the 63rd place in the list of the largest world contractors by Engineering News Record.
And Dubai master developer Emaar revealed recently that its profit in the first three months of 2015 amounted to US $ 270 million, which is 7% more than for the same period in 2014.
