Motor City and The Greens were rated top picks as communities in an online survey conducted by the portals, MoveSouq.com and FlateReviews.com.
Motor City earned the top spot because it ranked in the top 5 for (ease of) traffic, pet-friendliness, walking possibilities, nearby schools and shops/restaurants, and value for money. Based on the same measures, International City fared lowest in the polling, Gulf News reported.
The findings were based on more than 2,000 resident picks on FlatReviews.com, and 1,000 plus moving requests made on MoveSouq.com in the first quarter.
The report also showed the most demanded areas based on moving activity are Dubai Marina, Dubailand, Jumeirah Village Circle, Business Bay and Downtown Dubai, which made up 31% of all ‘moving in’ activity during the first three months.
Dubai Marina made it to the top of the list again as having the most number of new tenants taking up residence. According to the survey promoters, lifestyle reasons inform the decision as to why the location still attracts a lot of takers.
“However, the far-flung communities of Dubailand and Jumeirah Village are increasingly seeing more people move in this year likely due to lower rent prices,” a statement issued by them states.
