
More retail and entertainment facilities grow fast in different parts of Dubai.
A new shopping and entertainment center Jumeirah Islands Pavillion opened in Jumeirah Islands townhouses area. This facility will be the fifth major retail project in the collection of the developer Nakheel.
The Jumeirah Islands Pavillion will serve 8,000 people living and working in this and neighboring areas. Set amidst lush greenery between the water canals, the pavilion is about to become not just another shopping mall, but a real centre for social life and leisure pastime for the whole family.
Choithrams outlet will be the central unit of the pavilion surrounded by cafes and restaurants, among which there will be Oregano, Nando's and The Hamptons. Sports lovers will also appreciate a jogging track stretching for 1.1 km along the embankment, as well as the Round 10 Boxing Club.
Jumeirah Islands Pavillion will also meet other local residents’ needs with the opening of a medical clinic, a spa, a barber’s shop, a pharmacy and a dry cleaning service.
The completion of Jumeirah Islands Pavillion coincides in time with the delivery of the first residential units in the Jumeirah Islands area. A total of 767 villas and luxury mansions are being built on 46 mini-islands of the community, together with 84 townhouses, and another 246 duplex apartments in Jumeirah Heights.
Similar shopping pavilions with a number of necessary infrastructure facilities are also being constructed by Nakheel in other Dubai areas, such as Furjan, Jumeirah Park, Discovery Gardens, International City and the Badrah community in Jebel Ali.
