USD 8 million Dubai Marina apartment topped the list of the priciest last year's Dubai apartment transactions.
The list of the most expensive apartments sold in Dubai in 2016 was revealed recently. The first place went to the 14,349-square feet unit in Le Reve tower in the central Dubai Marina neighborhood sold for USD 8.09 million.
Palazzo Versace residential complex in Dubai's Culture Village took out five positions in the list of 20 most expensive apartment sales transactions of 2016 – the second, the fifth, the seventh, the eleventh and the fifteenth. Total value of properties sold in this luxury tower in 2016 amounted to USD 24,34 million. Another residential D1 Tower in the same area took the sixth place in the Top 20 ranking with a flat sold for USD 4.9 million.
Top 20 list of priciest apartment transactions also included properties in Downtown Dubai and the man-made island of Palm Jumeirah. The apartment in elite serviced hotel complex The Address Downtown Hotel (Lake Hotel) went for USD 6.87 million (3rd place in the ranking), while luxury apartment in the Anantara Residence on the Palm Jumeirah’s Crescent with a stunning seaview and a private access to the beach was sold for USD 6.67 million (4th place).
An apartment in the iconic Armani Residence tower in Burj Khalifa became an alternative Top-20 leader due to the highest per square feet cost (USD 1,955 psf and the 8th position).
Another location with lowlier apartment prices, if compared to elite housing sector standards, closed the rating. It was Al Bateen Residence situated at Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) area with two most expensive apartment sales transactions amounting to USD 3.68 million and USD 3.54 million, respectively.
