Al Barsha is a central Dubai development consisting of six residential subcommunities located in the west of Dubai, south of Al Sufouh area. One of the newer residential clusters, Al Barsha is bounded by the two Dubai main transport routes, Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) and Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road (E311).

Various subcommunities at Al Barsha include Al Barsha First, Al Barsha Second, Al Barsha Third, with three more subclusters in the South enumerated from one to three.

Compared with other Dubai areas, Al Barsha is still quite thinly populated, despite being located near such major central Dubai locations as Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah.

​​Al Barsha offers various types of residential and hospitality real estate ranging from apartments and suites, and from villas to cottages with the number of bedrooms from three to five. Of the buildings already built in the area, about 75% are inhabited. Prices for villas in the area range from AED100,000 to AED330,000, while apartment costs start from AED70,000.

A huge shopping and entertainment center, Mall of the Emirates located in Al Barsha is the main center of attraction in the area and its most visited cultural and leisure destination. Additionally, several large household appliances stores are already opened here, as well as a supermarket, two furniture stores, two fuel filling stations, a number of pharmacies and even a veterinary clinic. Specialized Medical Center located on Sheikh Zayed Road takes care of the area residents’ health.

All usual kinds of entertainment that can be found at world-class hotels are also available to residents of Al Barsha. There are 38 hotels in the area, the most famous of which is the 5-star Kempinski Hotel. 6 restaurants and bars of the hotel, plus the state-of-the-art K Wellnes Health Club with a gym, an infinity pool and tennis courts will satisfy the most demanding guests. There are also a Softouch Spa and a Dessange Paris beauty salon.

Another local attraction, a real magnet for tourists and residents of other Dubai area specially coming here to visit it, is the Ski Dubai located nearby. Thus, despite being thinly populated, Al Barsha residential community can offer all the necessary amenities and entertainment to its residents.
