Almas Tower (old name: Diamond Tower) with its siblings Almas Towers West etc. is the center-piece project of Jumeirah Lake Towers. Not only is it the tallest tower in the 78 project complex, but it is also the symbol of the community.
Almas is amongst the tallest buildings in Dubai and has 1700 car parks and 35 elevators.
Almas Tower houses the Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC), the developer of the building and the company that manages the Jumeirah Lake Towers project as a whole.
The Almas buildings have high occupancy rates, offices here are rarely vacant. A number of big local and international businesses have their offices here.
There is a high-end retail area on the ground level with cafes, restaurants, banks etc.
Almas Conference Center, a 800 sq. meter facility with the capacity to host 500 delegates at a time is also situated here, on the ground floor.
All of the 87 tower blocks at JLT, where Almas Tower West is located, are built around three lakes and a park and comprise also hotels, shops and leisure facilities. Apart from the Almas Tower all the buildings range from 35 to 45 floors in height and are arranged in 23 clusters.
All tower clusters have mini-marts or convenience stores at ground level and along the waterfront, as well as medical clinics, gyms, health clubs and spas for your convenience.
Three large malls, each the size of a small town, cater all the shopping need of the JLT residents, being located just within ten minutes away.
There are two schools 12 minutes away, and four children’s playgrounds within JLT as well as shared pools for resident families and singles alike.
