One of the most important Dubai city-forming real estate projects called ‘Jewel of the Creek’ is reaching the advanced stage of development in Deira.
According to the developer of the project Dubai International Real Estate (DIRE) company, the project will occupy about 8 million square feet of territory. During the project’s first stage a super-large-scale infrastructure matching the scale of the project itself will be created. The first units, including 438 room five-star hotel and four high-stored buildings with 756 luxury apartments will be handed over in August 2017.
The project is of strategic importance to the city, said DIRE’s representative Imad W. Elias. It will take the last free strip of land between the Creek and Deira side of Old Dubai and completely transform the area brining new life into it.
About 1,200-1,500 residential apartments and about 1,000 offices are planned to be constructed within the territory of the new development. And the first retail and F&B facilities as part of the new Arabian Travel Market will be completed as early as in May next year. All apartments, offices and retail outlets at Jewel of the Creek will be set for lease.
In addition to traditional amenities such projects usually provide, Jewel of the Creek will also have supersized swimming pools, the central part of which will be 800 meters long and 50 meters wide and with an artificial beach fronting it. Dubai Dome meetings and exhibition venue, also including a music hall will present the main architectural attraction at the territory of Jewel of the Creek.
