Dubai authorities are constantly improving state services for female clients in a variety of state and private institutions. Large developers like Damac have also opened separate offices for women, so the decision to create a new type of service program Al Mahara for women made by Dubai Land Department was of no surprise.
Now female Dubai residents and foreign investors will have a free access to all of the agency’s facilities without them having to leave their private domains. The new client management program named ‘Al Mahara’ provides almost all services through modern technologies and the Internet. And in cases where a client’s personal presence is needed, such as buying and selling real estate properties, Dubai Land Department will provide a luxury car to women clients to bring them to a separate office of the Department, created exclusively for women. A dedicated telephone number also puts callers in direct contact with Al Mahara representatives.
“DLD will enhance its position by offering this type of services that provide women with flexible solutions and social benefits,” Majida Ali Rashid, Assistant Director-General and Head of Investment Management and Promotion Centre, said in a statement. “Specialists will be employed to provide all the services they need without having to visit the DLD headquarters to complete the real estate services.”
Since the establishment of the Dubai Land Department 136,723 women client have closed almost 317,000 transactions through this regulatory body. And in the first half of 2015 only 2400 women have invested almost USD 1.6 billion in the Dubai real estate.
