The most fascinating new tourist destination in the Middle East, the man-made Heart of Europe islands in The World archipelago group shaped as the map of the world in Dubai is nearing completion.
The US$5 billion plus worth project designed by Kleindienst Group will soon sparkle with all the miracles it has in its pocket, due to the fast progressing construction. Intensified working processes on site now move the project forward with high speed in order to ensure the completion of this perfect tourist destination at the end of this year, in due completion date.
While the outbreak of the COVID-19 has stopped many land-based construction projects, The Heart of Europe is currently abuzz with activities, with engineers, consultants and workers speeding up construction processes, all thanks to the project's offshore location and strict compliance with all sanitary measures.
Ultimately, The Heart of Europe will become a number one tourist must-see destination in the UAE, offering an unforgettable and authentic European cultural and culinary experience.
The project was originally conceived in 2008 and has steadily advanced to the final stage amid two economic crises and decelerations.
Phase I of The Heart of Europe, consisting of three islands called Sweden, Germany and Honeymoon Island, also includes 78 Seahorse Floating Villas — three-leveled floating-underwater houseboats with views of the coral reef, and the Portofino Hotel.
Strategically located next to the island of Germany, the heart-shaped Honeymoon Island inspired by the Maldives, and the Portofino Hotel are getting ready for handover in the fourth quarter of 2020, when Phase I of the entire project is completed.
Phase I also includes 10 prestigious beach palaces on the island of Sweden, 32 Bauhaus-style villas on the island of Germany, 17 of which overlook the blue lagoon, and 15 have direct access to the beach, as well as 489 oversize spacious family suites at the Portofino Hotel on the Main Europe island.
Kleindienst Group is also preparing to deliver the Monaco and Nice boutique hotels at Côte D’Azur project at The World, located on Main Europe island, by Q4 2020. These majestic low-rise hotels will have scenic patios, lagoons, swimming pools and spacious elegant hotel suites with chic spa-style bathrooms and viewing platforms with magnificent views of the water.
The Heart of Europe will add 15 atmospheric hotels and 4,000 villas to the Dubai hospitality units, which offer a great opportunity for the far-sighted investors in terms of high rental income from resort real estate rentals, including the famous Seahorse Floating Villas and hotel apartments at Côte Beach Boutique Hotels — D'Azur and Portofino.
One of the main highlights of The Heart of Europe will be newly-grown coral reefs covering an area of more than 5,381.955 square feet, as well as Spanish olive trees aged 100 to 1500 years, specially brought here from Andalusia, a region on the southern coast of Spain, as well as the world's first weather-controlled streets with artificial rain and even a snowy square.
Portofino's façade is decorated with magnificent hanging gardens with 31,000 plants. The whole complex is designed to ensure zero waste with no harm to nature, without pesticides, without fungicides and with irrigation of all plants with waste purified water. The island will also be completely free of cars and powered with exclusively "green" energy. Zero waste policies, including zero microplastics, will also protect the Persian Gulf ecosystem and its marine inhabitants.
In restaurants and cafes, as well as in the round-the-clock room service, absolutely pure exclusive locally grown organic products will be served, adding health and well-being to guests of the island.
All management in hotel rooms will be non-contact. A fully integrated smart application will allow guests to manage entertainments and delivery directly from their mobile phones, as well as monitor and configure their preferred lighting or temperature settings in their apartments.
